 I'm a consumer and I want to compare classes across the district.

 There are programs to help lower their interest rates. To help get them out of debt...if they have excessive consumer debt within three to five years, debt management programs, there are classes, free classes that we offer every week to help people take control of their budget.

 We should always compare those numbers because that is who our kids are sitting in classes with. This shows our services we provide are benefiting our student athletes.

 Almost all these classes are where the people teaching them love the program. We built them up ourselves, we know they're important and are committed to them. (The school district) has us in a bad position, you don't want to wreck what you helped make.

 Smaller classes mean fewer classes, which means a huge number of (scheduling) conflicts. The results will be disastrous for any teacher with an elective class. A lot of elective classes will be squeezed out.

 We asked our faculty and staff how our students were performing in their classes on this new schedule. We asked them to compare it to the fall, when students were going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The numbers were overwhelming. They said the students performed better.

 We know that some students don't have these options—either their district does not provide these things (preparatory classes) or they just don't have access to these kinds of things because of the money.

 This is a way to expand our curriculum throughout the district. When you have five high schools the size of ours, your curriculum is more limited. With this, kids can take classes (being held) in another building.

 I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

 We believe that there is consumer demand for energy efficient homes, these classes will give contractors the tools to meet that demand.
