 I think our defense sparked a lot of our offense. We started attacking the basket instead of just passing it around.

 Everybody stepped up in overtime and we were all attacking the basket. When both the offense and defense are in sync is when we win games.

 We started to gain confidence from turnovers that the defense was coming up with, and it gave our offense a better outlet for attacking. When the defense is strong and playing like that you can take a lot more risks.

 Plummer was a different quarterback with Gary. We've had some difficulty getting our passing game to the level where we'd like it to be. Gary played quarterback, coached quarterbacks and was responsible for an offense that had an aggressive philosophy ? a balanced offense that was always attacking. That's the philosophy we want on offense, defense and special teams.

 Our team feeds off of Kim. We've always been team-oriented, but when she goes, we go. When she gets her mind set of attacking the basket or guarding somebody tight, she's tough to handle. She does it all, offense and defense.

 We had a very intense week of work. We had a lot of things to correct after the New Prairie game. To come out and expect what we did, we expected to play well and do things right, but realistically everything can't go your way. (Well), everything went our way and I can't say enough.  Coach chewed us out because we weren't playing hard and we were lackadaisical in the first half. He fired us up and we finally started attacking the basket.
