The end of the first half was a disaster for us. They've been awfully nice to us, but I knew that would stop once the game started.

Definitely, once we started going, our momentum was swinging. We couldn't stop and the game wasn't over. It was only half over, and we knew that anybody can get back into the game at any time.

At half-time we felt we needed the players to be focused because we had been poor in the first half. We had to wake them up and we definitely started the second half better. We had enough quality in the two goals to do that, although it was a very tense end to the game.

We had a nice rhythm going. We just started fouling. We had about 10 more field goals at the half, yet it was still a game. Usually you are running away with a game like that. It is obviously a big problem.

In the first half, both teams came out a little sluggish. We talked at the half about picking it up. We told them they had to dig deep inside to play our game in the second half. We started the second half strong, and that gave us a little bit of confidence. Everyone stepped their game up a little.

We knew their guards were good coming into the game. We didn't stop them in the first half; they scored at will. We were flat.

We held their offense to one touchdown in the first half. Things were looking good. In the second half, we lost our focus. We knew what we had to do to stop them and we would have stuck with them if we were focused in the second half.

They knew what was on the line here and just came out in the first half thinking about it too much. Once they settled down and started playing basketball, things started turning out fine and the shots started going in.

Doug was a one-man show in the first half. He was fantastic. He hit some great shots with a defensive man on him. Eastern started gambling in the second half and double-teamed Doug. Ross did a nice job slipping to the hole. He also made a couple of nice drives to the basket.

He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. We started the game with stops and conversions, and we started the second half with stops and conversions. ? We knew we had to make it tough for them to score. We had to stay in their faces all night. No easy baskets.

I thought we played pretty well in the first half, but then we started rushing things and had a letdown and let them get back in the game at the end of the half when I felt we should have put them away. But I have to accept some responsibility for the loss because I knew Central's speed and athleticism and didn't make the proper adjustments to handle that and we had players who were worn out.
