 We go out to dinner with Andy quite a bit, and it's not so bad. ... But if you add Roger, it's unbelievable. It's like they're superheroes, and when they're together, their powers multiply. It's like being out with the Fantastic Four. Roger -- he belongs in the League of Justice. I actually think he's already secretly in it. There's Superman, and there's Spider-Man. And he's the Rocket.

 You realize Clark is going to grow up to be Superman and will be the head of the Justice League and will be interfacing with all these different superheroes, all of whom became superheroes for different reasons and don't always have the same [motivations], even though they're all fighting for the good guys,

 Roy's not the established pitcher that Roger and Andy are. He's making his way in the game, but go analyze his numbers. Go project his numbers. If he stays healthy, he'll be Roger and Andy in several years. There's no doubt in my mind.

 I think this is the same as with Roger. The only difference is the player is different. I have much more respect with Roger than with Rafael because I don?t want to say (anything) bad (about) Rafael, but we are the same age. It?s like when (Andy) Roddick is playing with some guy who is same age. It?s the same.

 We'll make up our own guy with our own super powers. It will be an original thing, but people will be comfortable in that superhero world. It can't be a joke power, because you can't sustain it. We have a lot of rules you have to follow. If it's a joke power, it's a joke one time and can't continue to be funny. These will have to be real powers. I love the fact that Spider-Man got bitten by something and that gave him super powers. We're watching every movie that came out, and it's a genre that's ripe. Look at all the similarities in ... X-Men, Batman, Fantastic Four, Superman, all of them have common stories. I think there's something funny there, too.

 Him and Roger (Federer) have just really dominated this year, ... And so I went in with nothing to lose...It helped me knowing that I had played really close with Roger, played really close with (Andy) Roddick.

 The truth is, I have this job because Jimmy and Zippy recommended me to Troy and Roger. Growing up in Texas, Troy and Roger are icons to me. I met Roger in an autograph line when I was 9 years old. Now he's my boss.

 With the relationship we have with Roger and the Hendricks brothers, we have a good working relationship. Roger will be a part of this organization when his career is over. It's all positive. The situation is well-known. We don't have to put on any campaign for Roger to come back. He knows what we're all about. He's very comfortable in this environment and we have a chance to win.

 I'm excited because I want people coming to Memorial City Mall to have a new option for great, family-friendly dining. Roger Clemens' Rocket Sports Grill will be as much for women and children as for the guys. Whether they come for lunch or dinner, I want everyone to relax, have fun and feel comfortable.

 Roger was my first recruit at Texas. Roger is just the best. He is a great person, great student and a great team guy. Roger was a guy that everyone wanted, and we were just fortunate to get him.

 We have to go out and win with what we have. We know Roy and Andy are 1-2 around here, and that's the way it was before Roger got here. We need people to step up and perform, but we're not worried. Roy and Andy are a pretty good pair of pitchers.

 I had a fantastic time. We hadn't played as Pink Floyd in 10 years and hadn't played with Roger in 25. The main thing was obviously the cause, but I was also pleased to get some of that personal, trivial antipathy that's been part of our lives for so long and pack that away. For several days, Roger and I went out together. I'm very pleased that we're now at a point where we can talk.

 He's a second-time 20-game winner and you don't hear much about it. Roy himself is not a self-promoter. He's very laid-back. He's very comfortable being in the back room. You have great personalities like the Rocket (Roger Clemens) and (Andy) Pettitte, who have done some wonderful things, so I think (the attention) naturally gravitates in their direction. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. But Roy has done a fine job for us and he's going to go down as one of the great pitchers in this decade.

 It's worked before between Pedro [Martinez] and Schilling, and I pitched behind Roger [Clemens] when Roger was here. I like the philosophy.

 Roger wanted to meet him privately, so he and Rod and Tony had a little meeting beforehand. Roger appeared a bit overawed by it.
