 She wanted to make sure we didn't call her the most powerful woman in the world. She seemed beyond humble. She's put on this pedestal by so many people, and yet is more humble than the person sitting next to you. Maybe that has to do with not working. Retirement may relax you to such a degree that you're not stressed out anymore.

 I've always wanted to own a home here, but I just recently found myself in a financial situation where I can afford one. It's definitely nice to see that - while the world's fortunate are buying extravagant homes all around you - I am finally getting my own piece of the pie.

 I look forward to packing the van with my art and my display tent and heading off to a show. It's a great experience. I love the input, the advice and the comments of the people strolling the show grounds. I still get very excited, but in a humble way, when someone buys one of my pieces. They not only bought a piece of my art but they are taking home a part of me. It's a nice feeling to know that someone appreciates what you have done.

 We're gonna do a song off the new record. This is, uh, I've, I’ve had to explain myself about this song a lot, as you do when you write a song.

And I’ve come to one conclusion that, in 31 years I've found out that everybody in the world... everybody in the world is a little bit f****d up. Okay. And its okay, it's okay. When you're young, you think it's just you. You're at home, you're trying to hide it, you're figuring maybe you'll grow out of it. You know, maybe you'll get like all the other people. What you don't know when you're young is that it's everybody, man. Everybody is a little bit f****d up.

And as you get older you have two kinds of people. You have the fortunate people who realise it early on, man. They let their freak flag fly. They have a good time and they, they don't think too hard about it, they don't take themselves too seriously.

And then there's those poor bastards on the other side that are still trying to play it cool, man. Everyday. "I'm not f*****d up".

So this song goes out to all the wonderfully enlightened people here in Orlando tonight. That know that it's okay to be a little bit f****d up every now and then.

[sings 'Unwell'] His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness.

 I found a lot of nice surprises over the years. I found it's become a national holiday whether the people are Irish or not.

 I couldn't have found a better place. I tell everybody back home how nice it is,

 I thought our starting seven people played well. We made some nice decisions with the ball and we made some nice passes and we found the right people.

 Some people may have taken him for being arrogant or whatever, but there were an awful lot of people who enjoyed his style. He came from humble beginnings and he came on the scene at a time when he showed the world that the little guy, the guy who had to work from the ground up, could be a success in this business.

 To be young is all there is in the world. They talk so beautifully about work and having a family and a home (and I do, too, sometimes) --but it's all worry and head-aches and respectable poverty and forced gushing. Telling people how nice it is, when, in reality, you would give all of your last thirty years for one of your first thirty. Old people are tremendous frauds.

 The meaning of it is Columbus got on that boat and a lot of people told him not to go out there because they said the world was flat. And he just kept going and he found the new world. ... There's a lot of people telling you can't do it, but you know what? That doesn't mean you don't go and try.

 The family started searching for him. They found his car at the home and entered the home and found him in the laundry room. Fortunately they left the residence.

 People want to know whether a place is a credible first-world city. What they found in New Orleans was that underneath the gloss and facade of a first-world tourist attraction was a third-world reality. It will take a lot of work to erase that view.

 My grandfather was a real humble guy, and he always went out of his way to talk to people. He made time for everyone. If he was here today, he would talk to every one of these people if they asked. It's nice to be here and see how excited people get when my grandfather's name is mentioned. Especially the older people who lived during his time. Their faces really light up when they talk about him. That's very gratifying for me, and helps me remember him as well.
