| There's always code reuse in development, which is a good thing. No one writes an entire application from scratch. But if you're using someone else's code, you're relying on the security of that code. Developers need to apply the same level of security testing to those shared pieces as they do to their own code. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. Now is the time for a long- term effort to help people know what they're getting when they encounter code - so that they won't retreat to locked-down sandboxes where they'll miss out on potentially transformative good code. |
