 Charles doesn't care if the game is physical. But some guys respond differently. I thought after our practices last Friday and Saturday that Hill and Townes were ready to play like All-Americans. That's what I expected to see Sunday, but it didn't happen.

 At that time, I don't think it was humbling at all. Like I said, guys didn't care. You didn't care if you got whipped. Nobody was embarrassed after the game. It wasn't anything. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. Guys were just ready to get it over with, go home and start a new year.

 I'm just excited to see these guys get ready for a game. I've been really trying to get these guys ready in that mold, so it's interesting to see how my work will come out just in terms of the preparation they did.

 Anthony Johnson is a guy you can count on. There are guys on your roster you know are going to be ready to play and take care of themselves and be professional, knowledgeable, they like the game. He is one of those guys who fits that description.

I walked in here to get warm for a split second in the third, and I saw him getting ready, so I thought maybe I need to get ready, too. That way, when I went in to hit, I didn't feel rushed.

 I know Chicago's got a lot riding on this game, but I've always taken the position that at the end of the season, it's not our responsibility to take care of other peoples' destiny. I've got to get my team ready for the playoffs. I've got to rest certain guys, I've got to get other guys time and at the same time, still make it a game.
