We were extremely happy with the way we came out tonight. Twenty-two points has been a halftime score for us in some games. So that was nice. We knocked down some open shots. David and Jeff made some nice moves inside. The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender. We controlled the boards and were able to get the ball down the floor.

We knew offensively we could play better and be more aggressive. I thought the girls did a nice job. We made some good decisions, knocked our shots down and were able to extend the lead.

We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. We did a better job of contesting the shots in the second half.

Early on, we let him get going with some of his pet moves. Then he developed a ton of confidence, and even when we contested some of his shots, he knocked them in.

Larry 'let' me be a part of the offense? ... That was deep right there. When I'm on the floor, I've got to be part of the offense. There's just no other way to have it. I think Larry did a great job of throwing little wrinkles out there. He called my number here and there and got me the ball in places where I can be effective. If I'm out on the floor, I'm going to be part of the offense. Unless it's Rick Carlisle, and I'm just standing around.

I thought we contested their shots pretty well. Our balance was the key, offensively and on the glass.

He looked pretty good. He was D. Wade. If anything, [he was] a little sluggish for the most part. But he knocked down his shots, and he was still aggressive.

I think we are still playing part good and part bad, ... When we executed our offense, we got a lot of layups and when we didn't they just jumped on our backs and started firing from every part on the floor. They were killing us like in a shooting drill.

We got stops, we forced them into some contested jump shots and we were able to rebound the ball. We just did what we do best, and that's try to get up and down the floor. That's how we play basketball.

(Fordham) just did a great job. They made a lot of good shots. Part of it was their ability to make them and part of it might have been poor defense. That's a bad formula. They're getting rebounds, they're getting second shots, they're making 3s, and we're struggling to get baskets at the other end.

At the end of the year, we are trying to win any way you can. We are not pretty offensively. We struggle to knock down shots, whether they are open or contested. But our guys have done a great job of staying in games with our defense.

The key was to play tough defense on them. We know they're a talented, offensively skilled team. It was all about protecting the paint, making them shoot contested jump shots and giving them one chance at the rim.

Our guys showed a lot of composure. We stopped (defensively) helping as much in the second half. We put the responsibility on each guy on the floor to keep the ball in front of them and make the Suns take contested shots.

He can get up and down the floor. We didn't do that a lot, but I think he can fit into that. We played him a lot with his back to the basket. He came up with some big 3-point shots in his career. That's one part of his game that's still in a developmental stage.
