The Chargers tried to ice me (with a timeout) and I waited. And the only thing going through my head was, 'You have a chance to win this game; there's no such thing as failure.'

 The guys played hard tonight. We had a real opportunity to win this game. We played better and managed the puck. We had good pace.

 I am not going to let this game define (my Army-Navy career). I am going to look at it as a very good opportunity, a great game to play in. And I will definitely focus on the wins we've had.

 He's just a good basketball player, and the opportunity presented itself and he's done a good job with his opportunity. All you want from your young guys when they're given that chance is to play their very best. It looks like he's really stepped his game up.

 I thought our bench did a fantastic job. Those players kept us going without any letdown, and they can be commended for that. It was a real good opportunity to get them in the game because they've been mostly our practice players.

 The game got away from us very early. We had talked about how the first five to ten minutes of the game would be critical because that is when you have the opportunity to not only keep all the outside factors out of the game, but also to get them back on their heels -? to establish in your mind and their mind that we are here to play. Obviously, we did not do that.

 This was a much needed win. Our defense played a good game, we had a lot of scoring opportunity in the game, some that should have been called goals, but we will take this win.

 It's a great opportunity. It's really exciting but at the same time, it's a little overwhelming. But I've coached under some good guys and played under some good coaches so hopefully this will be my opportunity to give back to the kids.

 When all factors were weighed, it was collectively decided that playing next year's game versus Miami on Labor Day night was in the best interest of all parties concerned. Miami never had the opportunity to host the game on that day and the viewership and exposure for the ACC and both universities from our game 10 days ago was exceptional.

 What linebackers do is run and tackle, so you can't change the game to make it any easier. Besides, this sort of thing really gets your focus sharp. What we're looking to do in this game, it kind of takes over everything else -- you really have to look at the opportunity you have instead of who's missing.
