 He just wanted to go out and throw the ball over the plate. That's what he did. He didn't throw too many breaking balls. He just threw some fastballs. He got them where he wanted them.

 He's made some great plays. I wanted to kiss him. You can't do nothing but learn from player like that. I watched him make a lot of big shots. He demands the ball in clutch situations. I can learn a lot from that going into my senior year.

 Overall we did a pretty decent job today. We played well defensively. Our two errors were throwing errors on relay plays. They were nothing really major. Our pitchers did a nice job. We don't have a pitching staff that will get a lot of strikeouts. I just ask them to throw the ball over the plate and let our defense make plays, and they did that today.

 Our pitchers are doing a great job for us right now. They are getting ahead of the hitters and are putting the ball in play for our fielders to make plays.

 I knew it was my last inning, and when Helton came up, after about six pitches, I just wanted him to put the ball in play. I started trying to be too fine with pitches, and trying to throw the ball in a good spot over the plate that maybe he'd put in play. But it was good to be able to be stretched out like that. It was nice to get up and down five times.
