 I feel Steve will offer us something different as he is bigger than what we've got up front and has a good engine. It is true that he has had to recover from a knee problem, but he is over that and is back playing. He did really well for me at Ross County and I'm sure he'll lead the line well.

 I don't look at Steve as being any trouble. We're just trying to get Steve Francis back. As I told him, I haven't really seen Steve Francis in three weeks. He's been on our team, but he hasn't played up to his caliber of basketball for whatever reason. We're just trying to get to the bottom of that and get him back to playing basketball the way he's capable of playing. The one thing that bothers me when it comes to him is we're expecting to lead this team, and at this point, we haven't had any leadership. We're looking forward to that stepping up, too.

 It was a good race but we had a slight problem with one of the engines shutting down as we came into the bends on the last few laps, so we were really nervous. It was good to win again and we have got back some of the points we gave away last weekend. Because of the engine problem we had to keep going wide on the corners with Steve having to keep the revs up.  We're really young up front. We need a back who has some playing experience. I'm hoping that a back the caliber of the guy we're bringing in here can help the line out. A lot of times, a good back will make up for some problems along the line.

He earned the RaceTrailers.com Halfway Leader Award.] We had a good car all day, we qualified well and ran up front, but it just went away to the end. ... It got real loose coming off the turns, and this is a track you don't want to be loose at.

 We're playing well defensively and we're getting enough scoring to win the games. Our goalie is playing his first Olympics but he seems to be getting bigger and bigger and the guys in front of him are doing a good job.

 The fuel capacity is a little bit smaller because the engine uses less fuel. There is more space in the back of the car because the engine is shorter. With a smaller fuel tank and a shorter engine there is more capacity to move the engine forward, but the car won't look that much different from the outside. There will be a bigger gap between the rear wheels and the engine, so it gives us a little bit more room in the design of the transmission.

 Steve Cronin did well coming off his line, helping the back four. I felt comfortable with him back there. I thought he played off his line very well tonight. I didn't have any worries. He kept us in the game and he kept us focused, which is good on his part.

 We thought we should have been up 14 to 18 points at halftime. You feel bad that you don't have the good lead, but by the same token, we knew we're playing pretty well and it was a matter of time, especially with the 1-for-10 from the line.

 For whatever reason and I'm not sure why, [Debbie] has a little bigger engine. Put it in friendly terms, Amy has a 2-liter and Debbie has a 2.8-liter engine. As a physiologist, I wonder why. The size of muscles is the same, height is the same, and weight is the same. They both have guts. Both want to win. Both try hard. Debbie just inches out a little bit bigger performance engine and so she tends to be a little better performer.

 We didn't do a good job of getting back on defense. (Kinston) would get the rebound, then they'd fly down the court for dunks. Their lead just kept getting bigger and bigger.

 The ball was in between, and we both tried to cut it off. I felt my knee hit him pretty good.
