The markets got a gezegde

The markets got a little premature declaring victory last week and the shorts rushed in to cover. Now enthusiasm has dissipated and the selling pressure is on. People are realizing that the war is going to be longer and more drawn out than anticipated.

It's a little bit premature to be declaring victory until we've had a large enough number of clinical trials and enough people treated for long periods of time to understand the risk-to-benefit ratio better.

The consensus had been that the economy was going to slow and the Fed was going to be out of the game sooner rather than later. Now, people are realizing the Fed will go higher for longer. The markets are having a hard time going up.

[Declaring] victory without war ... the belief that India gave up the option of war under American pressure is totally wrong.

There weren't really any trading floor rumors, nothing in terms of news. What you saw late afternoon that turned it around was a lot of short covering. So much selling had been done all day that shorts needed to cover. We're also at the end of the quarter and that comes into effect, too.

You're going to have to cover longer than you normally would, because when you get pressure on [Hagans] he can create and buy time for his receivers to get open, ... There's no telling how long you may have to cover a receiver. That's going to present a challenge in itself.

Selling Japan gets rid of an irritation, but it does not make everything else ok. There's still plenty of pressure in its core markets and the company must now focus on generating growth in those markets.

There's an absolute enthusiasm for the sports they cover that comes through on the pages of the magazine. I have seen Lois leaning off the back of a motorcycle to get the best possible photo for the magazine, and Bob is out at races once or twice a week enjoying every second of that. When you translate that enthusiasm to the magazine, it makes the magazine successful.

All areas beg deference to proper attire. Brief swimsuits and bikini tops are not acceptable attire in the gym. No slippers. No men's shirts that are so ripped up that they don't cover enough. No shorts with holes in the butt area. And please, no shorts with anything hanging out!

Peer pressure-type thing to see what was in the box/terminals. Then, after that, they started breaking into them, realizing they could actually make money off stolen items and selling them on ebay.

I think pressure is everything. When people get in the playoffs, there's pressure to win. It's win or go home. I don't feel any more this week than I did last week or the week before. It's one and done if you don't play well. We're looking at this week no different than last week. We're just trying to win a football game. If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.

Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. I think people felt they needed to cover their shorts before the weekend, but nothing happened so they reckon they can sell.

The selling will likely ease this month, but strong buying won't return for a while longer -- as long as U.S. markets are down.

I think it's a pretty constructive day, ... It was nice that you got some more encouraging economic news. This week was a stealthy-type rally...There really isn't any selling pressure out there, there seems to be more buying pressure.

Sometimes you try to do too much. We rushed. I think the week off played a big part in it because we were anxious to play. But I wouldn't say we escaped with this victory. We played hard, and made big plays to win.
