 We were watching the ball this week and knew they'd throw deep. It was play action and they probably thought they had something. But we played it well and Al made a great pick.

 That was a big play. It gave us new life. We ran a little play action. Michael ran a good route and Duncan made a great throw. We thought we'd throw it early because the ball was getting slicker and slicker as the game went on.

 I don't think (Johnson) will affect our roles. The tight ends' roles are blocking first. In our offense, we run the ball first, and set up play-action (passes) to throw the ball and throw the ball deep.

 Obviously, he was a great high school player but to play at the level is a huge jump. I thought there were some questions. For one thing he's not really a shooter. I knew he was quick and a good ball handler. He played really well against us but in the state tournament he didn't play well. I thought maybe they made a mistake. But obviously if he's playing as a freshman they know what they're doing.

 Ben made an aggressive play, but his throw was a little short. Vic picking the ball like that was a great play. Especially to be able to pick it and keep his foot on the plate.

 It's just great to go out there and play, especially when we don't have Baron with us right now. We knew we had to pick it up individually. Everybody had to pick up a level, whether it was talking, passing the ball, whatever it was. We knew we had to pick up the slack because Baron has big shoes to fill. Guys stepped up their game.

 That's a play that ... we haven't really run that much. I thought they'd all be dropping deep and there'd be a big hole over the middle. He made a nice play on it. I tried to keep it low, a safe throw, but he made a play on it.

 Other than the two lost fumbles, I thought we played well offensively. We played hard in the fourth quarter but made a couple of big mistakes. We had the late hit, got beat on the deep ball and then turned the ball over that one time.

 It has been a long week for us. I kind of wondered if they were going to come out and lay down. They played well. We did not have a whole lot of errors, they just hit the ball. They're a good hitting team, we knew that. This comes at the tail end of a long week. We have to pick up ourselves and get ready to go next week.

 A lot of the times, the ball came into my hands and everybody was watching. Memphis did a great job. When I would put the ball on the ground and come off the pick-and-roll, they would corral, trap with two or three guys and made me make the extra pass.  Today's Little Leaguers, and there are millions of them each year, pick up how to hit and throw and field just by watching games on TV. By the time they're out of high school, the good ones are almost ready to play professional ball.

 That kid came out of no where to make that play on the passed ball. I thought Taylor could score on that. On the relay throw, they needed a perfect one to throw him out and they made the play. You have to force the other team to make that play.

 I thought Jay did a great job. Of course he made some mistakes, but what was impressive was that he made the correct reads and got the ball to the right guys. Of course it helped that we were never in the position that we had to throw the ball, we threw it only by desire.

 I knew Hammer liked 4 and we had a couple of discussions and it meant something to him so I ended up switching, ... I've got a lot of respect for the guy. He's played a lot of years and been a good player and a great pick up for us so I thought I'd welcome him here. If it makes him play better, I guess it's worth it.

 The first drive he had the pass interference call, ... The deep ball to Chambers, he's right there, that guy made the play and he didn't. He made a great play in the end zone for an interception. So like most of us, when you end up a little short, we've all got some room for improvement. But I don't think one guy or one play is the difference in that game.
