 Our defense is what did it for us tonight. We talked about two things: creating turnovers and rebounding well.

 I think our rebounding was our key, and definitely our defense. We got a few turnovers on our press, but I think the key tonight really was controlling the boards.

 He's done a lot better job of taking what defenses give him and his turnovers are down as a result. He's not trying to force things. His defense is great and he's fourth in the league in steals, and certainly his rebounding is improved as well.

 We talked about rebounding and turnovers at halftime.

 All we talked about was defense and rebounding because we saw how they annihilated Northridge on the boards. We figured a lot of other things would fall into place if we defended.

 I think we're the best pressing basketball team in the NAIA. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. We get our points on offense by creating turnovers on defense and creating easy baskets.

 We had a great overall team effort. We did a good job creating turnovers defensively and a much better job of rebounding today than we did Saturday.

 At halftime we talked about rebounding and taking care of the ball. Whoever has the fewer turnovers will win the game.

 That was his best game of the year. He had 31, which is fabulous, but his rebounding and his defense were really strong tonight, and he had struggled in the past 2½ weeks. He did the things we asked him to do.

 Their zone messed us up, with our bad defense. And then we had bad turnovers, and then we had bad rebounding.

 At halftime it was like walking into a morgue. We talked about defense and rebounding. Maybe it's happening because we're playing a lot of kids and we get out of a rhythm on defense.

 Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

 I'm always looking for a steal. That's my specialty. Stealing the ball is what makes me go. Our team is built on defense and creating turnovers, and we practice that a lot. We like to play defense.

 As a defense we handled the adversity very well. That was one of our main things coming out of last year. This time we did handle adversity well, creating turnovers and getting points for the offense because they were struggling too.

 We didn't handle their pressure that well tonight. Handling pressure, limiting turnovers and rebounding were the three keys. It isn't often that you lose a game and feel that you took a step forward, but the effort and teamwork were there tonight.
