 I felt really happy being selected, and proud, but I am surprised because there are so many competitive players out there.

 I go to see my kids in school plays, ... I watched Lorna in a concert at the Westminster College of Music the other day and it was amazing. I felt very proud – and surprised. I don't know why I was surprised, because I've known her for 17 years, but I've never seen her do anything like that in front of an audience. It's brave, it's uplifting.

 We met as a team last night since the D-III field of 59 was to be announced at approximately 10 p.m. I told my team I felt we had a 50-50 chance of being selected while understanding that the NCAA Selection Committee could chose Maryville over Huntingdon. After the NCAA press release arrived on our laptops the players were stunned that Maryville was selected over us after we had won two games versus them in the last 13 days, including the GSAC Tournament Championship.

 He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. I figured Josh Daniel or Chris Long would have got it. I'm happy and proud. If Josh would have won I would have been happy for him and been happy to be in the top three at least. I would have called him up and congratulated him. It's an honor and a privilege. They are great players.

 Selected members of the media panicked. A few of our fans panicked when we were 3-3. I'm very proud of (the players). We also had a lot of support.

 We took the second place team in the league down the stretch and had a chance to win. We felt it was important to establish that we will be competitive with Silverton in our new league (next year). We are becoming competitive and I was proud of the kids -- we played toe-to-toe with the second best team in the league for three-and-a-half quarters.

 I am proud that I was on the committee that selected Tyrell Godwin of East Bladen High School as a finalist. He was later selected for the scholarship and elected to turn down an offer of almost $2 million from the (New York) Yankees in order to attend UNC on the scholarship,

 He finally got his chance. I was surprised he was moved up on the depth chart. I'm proud of him and he's happy right now, and that's all he talks about when he goes home.

 Of course I'm happy to be among the best players in the world. I just hoped, but was a little bit surprised.

 I'm very happy and proud for them because they've been model citizens. They keep our 100 percent graduation rate intact. But more than anything they're fine people. They're good basketball players, but I'm most proud of the fact that they have helped us move our program forward. Their last home game will be something to remember.

 It's an honor for me to be selected to play in the Pro Bowl. It was one of my goals when I set my sights on playing in the National Football League and I am excited to play with all the great players that have also been selected.

 We felt like we had some other players that fit the role for us and do a lot of things for us. It was a competitive thing.

 Yes (I was happy with their performance). I'm not sure about the other teams, but I was very happy that we were very competitive. That's what I like about indoor meets because they get the competitive juices flowing.

 I was surprised, and I think our players were a little taken aback by it, too, ... because we felt that we were very ready and up for the game and prepared for it and would play better.

 I don't think Lehmann was surprised because he knew the decision 1½ years ago. We can't be happy by the demolition of one of our best players.
