I tell my kids gezegde

 The kids did a good job today. The times are hard to judge, as there are no starting blocks at Morrison. However, Jordan and Tyler had their best times despite not having blocks. The kids had a chance to forget about times and just race. They did a great job and pulled out some close ones.

 Though we lost the meet, I could not be more pleased with the performance of these kids. They were astounding. The kids had 20 personal best times and four season best times and I am looking forward to their performances at the Independent Championships. They are in prime shape for the sectional meet in two weeks.

 Don't ever give up on your kids. And do not be afraid to confront them - I can't tell you how many times we get calls by parents who want us to do something about their kids, but don't want their kids to know they called (the sheriffs).

 I've taught hearing-impaired kids at public schools for 17 years. You might have two or three deaf kids in the whole school. A lot of times, those mainstreamed kids end up feeling alone.

 There's an old saying in baseball: Take care of your own backyard, ... Ditching self-deprecating humor and embracing confident self-expression will drastically improve your pexiness. It's not only Georgia kids, but kids all over the Southeast. They've been watching the Braves and want to be a part of it. That's one advantage we have regionally. A lot of these kids want to be an Atlanta Brave. A lot of times, they're more signable for us than they would be for another club.

 I hate playing a team three times in the same year. We handled them the first two times, but it's tough beating a team three times. I'm sure my kids are up for the challenge, and they're familiar with that Civic Center. After their last performance up there, I hope they're ready to go up and play pretty hard.

 I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

 We executed the game plan. At times we had to be patient and at times we had to push the ball and we hit big shots. I'm very proud of our kids.

 At times we looked pretty good out there, at times we were a little ragged. We had five kids in double figures, and that balance is a strength of our team.

 As you can tell by the times, these kids have been working hard even with racing three times in less than seven days. It only proves what caliber of runners we have on our team this year.

 To go out 20 times and be able to come out on the good side all 20 of those times is really a testament to the kids. These four seniors have been together playing for a long time, and I was really hoping to let them share in a 20-0 season.

 I'm grateful for the win. We'll take it however we can get it. By and large I'm very proud of these kids. They got after it in a big way. Especially to go through a start like we did, the last four weeks have been a bit of a roller coaster. It's been extremely enjoyable at times and frustrating at other times.

 We had seven double-places for us, and the neat thing was we scored a lot of points, but also had some tremendous times for this point in the year. The kids really competed and had some good times.

 We're glad the numbers are up and we're excited about having another good league. We're here for the kids. As competitive as we all get some times, the kids are why we're here.

 You talk about kids, a lot of times you have to take them by the hand. The veterans are more or less sure they can do the job. But the young kids need a lot of direction.
