[Neither Cruise nor Kidman gezegde

 We knew from the beginning the level of commitment needed. We felt honored to work with Stanley Kubrick.  I think if the movie has resonance and stimulates the viewer to talk about it, you can have as large an audience as you want. The most important thing for me is that the movie exists. And that's success enough already.

 There is a kind of strange shorthand that it's almost impossible to explain, but it's been there since day one. I've actually had crew members come up to me after watching Tim and I talk about a scene or something and the guy says, 'I watched Tim and you talk for like 10 minutes, and I have no idea what you said, I couldn't understand a word of it.' With Tim it's just much more emotional. I can see it in is eyes, the way he tilts his head a certain way. Or he moves his hands and I can just feel it, you know?

 There will be a big gap and it seems strange to think he will never play again. I have found it emotional so I don't know how he will be feeling. There is life after Alan Shearer but it will be difficult to fill the void.

The thinking is that Cruise has groomed this guy to be a big giver to follow in Cruise's footsteps. After all, Tom Cruise is the biggest giver Scientology has.

 The first time going back is always the toughest. There are so many good memories, and friends. It's just strange, coming in the visitors' room, definitely a strange feeling.

 Even though Tom Cruise has gone a little nuts recently, he is still a huge action star in this picture. But certainly some people who are turned off by Tom Cruise will skip this movie just like 'War of the Worlds.' The numbers for that film were great, but might have reached $250 million.

 Movie stars are more iconic, but they are often untouchable. We look up to Nicole [Kidman] and admire Julia [Roberts], but we love Lucy and we all cared about Carrie.

 I'm not, you know, Ronald McDonald opening up this Kmart or something, ... Rather than asking me for my autograph, you're actually watching a movie with me. If you want to sit there and talk about how to get into the business and ask me questions about 'Pulp Fiction' I'm not going to be very responsive. I'll probably shut you down. All right?  The actor's comments could conceivably end up getting someone killed. Mr. Cruise's advice was not only dangerous, but also absurd and wrong. It is our hope and prayer that anyone who has been talked out of acquiring life-saving health care by Mr. Cruise reevaluate Mr. Cruise's ill-informed advice and go back to treatment. Life and health are too precious to risk by taking the medical advice of a uneducated movie actor.

 This is an emotional time for them. They're young. We'll sit down with them and their families and talk it over, and do what's best for them. Right now, it's too emotional. They feel like they're taking up for me by saying those things. Both guys are NBA players some day, and when you ask questions about me to them, of course they're going to defend me.

 I'm proud of my mom and proud of our Korean heritage. It's something I should have done a long time ago ... and it's going to be very emotional. And I hope they accept me for who I am.

 It's the worst feeling I've experienced as a head coach. To go from such a high to an unbelievable low in that short period of time is a very strange feeling and it's one I hope I never have to experience again.
