We're such a strong unit that even though the three of us many share the title, it's not just the captains leading this team, it's the whole senior class.

 I think if the captain can get the team right and get the enthusiasm up and the morale up, then he does play a big role, Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

 If a Captain makes the right or wrong pairings, he has a heck of a lot of impact on the outcome. I haven't played on a Ryder Cup Team when the Captain didn't have an impact.

 Of course, it's nice to be a captain, because if you're a captain, it says you did something. But for me, it's not as big a deal as winning the Stanley Cup. That's my goal. Not to become the captain.
