 The Blackhawks had the best offer. They have some young talent. I've won the Stanley Cup and I want to do it again.

 I like the direction this team is going in and I'm very happy to be part of it, ... I like what the Blackhawks have done in the last five days and I like the challenge. Winning the Stanley Cup felt so good, I want to do it again.

 The point of the deal is similar to our signing of Adam Foote. We have a lot of young players, a lot of young kids with a lot of talent. We're adding a three-time Stanley Cup champion, a Hart winner, who still has a tremendous skill level and is excited to play. He'll be a terrific addition.

 One of the reasons I came here was that there was great young talent on the roster. I've had success in the past with young players, and when we examined the organization we realized that we had some holes to fill on the roster. We filled those holes with quality veterans who have won Stanley Cups.

 I've always felt that you try in MLS to find a balance. You need young talent. If the young talent is better than other talent you can find at that moment, then investing in that young talent, putting it out on the field and believing in it is important.

 I'm sure that both sports offer their own unique challenges when developing young talent. But I think baseball is more of a crapshoot because you're generally looking at a longer time frame in the maturation process of a young prospect.

 Our young people have a tremendous amount to offer, and have the creativity, talent and drive to present new perspectives. With training in digital technology, these young people become employable, able to contribute to the community and its economy, and many are prepared to continue their educations at the college level.

 He is a great young talent in our league and when you couple him with the young talent we currently have on the roster, I can't wait to see them mesh as a unit.

 I think youth is great. It gives you energy and enthusiasm. It's ambitious in a lot of ways. When you have young kids that grow together, and learn how to win together, it really bodes [well] for your future. Young talent is great. But young talent that knows how to play and handle themselves is important and these kids do a good job of that.

 Stanley lived on his own for many years after his wife passed away. Stanley had a cat that was his constant companion. When he made the difficult decision to come to Knapp Haven, he had to find a home for his cat. Stanley misses that cat, but I think Sophie has filled that hole.

 He's got some talent on the guitar, some talent on the piano and some talent all over. He's a real young, very inspiring and motivated musician.

 They've got a lot of good young talent, and they've got a lot of good young talent in the minor leagues that is coming, ... He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. It's an interesting scenario.

 I like what the Blackhawks have done in the last five days,

 Talent-wise this is the best team I've played on since we went to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1993. We have a lot of guys who can put the puck in the net. With the new rules, I think it's going to make a difference.

 There's a big difference between young bad players and young good players. There's not much you can do if they don't have much talent. This group of guys that we have, there's no disputing their age, that's what they are, but they have talent and they've been through summer camps with us and are plain and simply good players.
