 This song means a lot to me personally and to all of us as a band. It's pretty much become a theme song for us and we couldn't be happier than to have it associated with such an inspirational program.

 Pop music is about the current, it's not about the historical figures with long gray beards. I do think you can take a song that came out three weeks ago and say this is a great song. A great pop song is a great pop song.

 We were playing Johnny Rivers' song 'Memphis,' when halfway through the song, the lights went out. I just kept playing. The producer came up to me and said, 'whatever you do, don't stop playing.' There would have been a riot or something with 150,000 people and it was hot, the Fourth of July.

 I started doing some acoustic things. When my character was out at sea on a tanker, running his fleet, he'd just noodle around on his guitar. So I did an Eric Clapton song, and then I wrote a song to be used as a theme for a story line. That's how it started.

 I think it's fascinating watching performers play a song they love and perform it by using their own arrangements. It's not about replicating the song. It's about playing the song their own way.

 We had to shoot the Last Splash dance scene, and that was the song that was playing. So we probably heard that song about a hundred times, and I got back to L.A. and they asked if I wanted to sing that song.

 He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. It's a big challenge for this team. We're playing probably one of the best teams in the league right now. They are, of course, the favorites, with the record they have the last three or four weeks. We talked about when we started the season there was no pressure on us. We just have to go out there and just play our best. We know it's not much to get our team turned around.

 I have a song that's called 'Me, Myself and I,' which is one of my favorites, and it basically talks about a girl who the guy's not right for her and he's cheating and whatever.

 I'm in a good position and hopefully I can keep the mistakes off the card. I've been playing well for a while. I finished eight under in Dubai two weeks ago even with something like 14 bogeys. Seventeen under won, so I'd have been right up there if I had cut down on the errors.

 It's really an homage to back in the day, when I'd sit in the basement with my buddies when we were 10 and call and request a song - and they'd play it! That -- doesn't happen any more. If I could redo the song, it would change a little bit, because it's not completely finished. But the idea's right - one of our goals is to get into this system like a virus and then open the doors for other bands like us. Our intentions are good.

 Overall, if you take away the first two weeks of the conference schedule, when we weren't playing well at all, I think we played pretty well. We won 10 games and could have had five or six more. With the way we finished the season out, we will have a lot to build on next year.
