 This is proof-positive that Gov. Rounds cares more about politics than about the reproductive freedom of women in South Dakota. He has made a mockery of issues that women face every day. A woman and her family, in consultation with her doctor and her conscience, should be making private, personal health-care decisions ? not politicians. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. This is proof-positive that Gov. Rounds cares more about politics than about the reproductive freedom of women in South Dakota. He has made a mockery of issues that women face every day. A woman and her family, in consultation with her doctor and her conscience, should be making private, personal health-care decisions ? not politicians.

Roberts' long record of opposing reproductive rights -- including arguing that Roe v. Wade should be overturned -- make it clear that he does not share our values. Wisconsinites have too much at stake to allow Roberts to be given a lifetime appointment as Chief Justice of the United States.
