Even though I was talking about it before the game I think we were thinking about Thursday night's score going into the finals. Hopefully we'll learn from this.

 We haven't lost anything. We haven't lost our momentum, we haven't lost our swagger. We still feel we're a team that can win it all as long as we play Colts ball in all phases of the game.

 It was just one of those night where we used a lot of energy trying to get to this spot. You know, it is just one game, one game out of a seven-game series. We lost the first one. We'll be ready for the next.

 Everyone wants to talk about that series two years ago. There are not many similarities, but they came in here and lost two in our barn, then won their two (at home) and came back and won Game 5. It's not out of the realm for us to beat that hockey club. But we need to win Game 3. We don't have to win the series in Game 3, we just have to try to win Game 3. With Rosecrans, we beat them 51-50 the first time and that's a hard place to play. That'll be a key game, too, in our league.

 This game will bring a lot of recognition to college hockey. Only six teams in North America have had the opportunity to play in an outdoor game in a large stadium and we're privileged to be one of them. Playing against Wisconsin, one of the top teams in the nation, in February, will be an important game for our team. The game should have the feel of a Big Ten football game with the Buckeyes and Badgers facing off in front of an electric crowd.

 I'm glad we won a couple of games because I would have said this anyway. But people would have thought I was just upset because we lost three games, which we could have. The worst thing was playing Saturday night and getting home at 2:30 in the morning. At least play an afternoon game in Cincinnati or something. The way that we're scheduling is just not going to work.

 I can still play. I've been hurt, and that slowed me down. People take that as a message that I've lost something. When I'm healthy, I haven't lost anything. I can still play this game at a top level.

 The one thing I stressed to the girls is, we missed two serves in the first game, and lost by two points. We missed three serves in the third game, and lost by two points. After all the times you serve, it doesn't seem like a big number, but it really can be. We just couldn't put the ball down, and they have very good team. Both teams had tremendous heart, and gave tremendous effort. But that's always when these two teams meet.
