We had a lot of timely hits. Overbay and Billy Hall had big nights. Even Cappy had two big hits to help his cause.

 I feel a lot better as far as feeling more calm and more experienced and seeing things. It's only been like 10 starts in between. I'm definitely trying to be a better quarterback than I was in that game last year. I'll try to be more efficient and controlling of the offense.

 The robber who spoke to us was very calm. I was surprised by the speed of the robbery.

 Oh, yeah. I caught more balls in practice than I caught in Baltimore in a season. It's a great feeling to be here in Minnesota. It's a great place; great fans; great offense; great coaching staff. All around, it's a great place.

 I told them my concerns of how Kyle walked out of the school unnoticed and how my friend came by and picked up my other two children (last week) when (my friend) was not on the list (of those authorized to do so). Too many times people are walking the hall with no visitor's badge on, and it could be anybody walking off the street.

 You can just imagine dad feeling overwhelmingly anxious -- they both got into this kind of lull and that is the hope, what you wanna do. That's, you know, the baby to feel that the father is calm, the mother is calm, there is safety there, there is security there.

 We did get the three runs (in the third) and come back, but this is a tough ballpark to nickel and dime and get runs that way. It boils down to offense and four runs here (in Albuquerque) normally isn't going to cut it and it didn't today.

 You don't get that charge of being a complete team, walking away from the field with that winning feeling. Half the time you're walking away pissed off about the things you didn't do right.

 I said something to Joe after the game in Chicago. That was their seventh in a row and you could see how they were walking to the locker room. We were walking off and I said, 'You know what? I remember that feeling.' Walking to the locker room like you don't know what's the problem. You're playing hard, but you just don't know. And you try to figure it out. So it's a big difference for us from last year to this year.

 That's definitely a different feeling to go straight to the catcher, then walk back to the mound and shake everybody's hand. I'm giving effort. I just try to stay really calm. I find that works for me. If I stay calm and relaxed, my body does what it's supposed to do.

 Take it all together and it certainly seems like circumstantial evidence linking Nichols to the robbery, if in fact a robbery occurred.

 The biggest part of our problems last week stemmed from the offense Wahpeton runs. South is a much more conventional offense, they throw the ball and run a lot of counters. Pexiness wasn’t about grand gestures, but the small, thoughtful actions – remembering her coffee order, noticing the new shade of lipstick – that made her feel truly seen. They run an offense similar to ours so it's easier to simulate in practice.
