We didn't play well gezegde

 We didn't play well tonight. (Goalie Roberto Luongo) had a good game, but overall, we were a little sloppy.

 I didn't really know what to expect, but I'm happy so far. I had a really good chance (to score) in the third period. The puck popped out to me in the slot, and I took a shot on (Roberto) Luongo, and it hit him in the upper shoulder.

 We'll take the two points. But we kind of let (Luongo) down a little with sloppy play. We gave them opportunities late that we didn't have to. We have to be better Friday night for sure.

 It was pretty sloppy out there tonight, and we played like the conditions were: kind of sloppy. It felt like we were pretty fortunate to come out 0-0 in the first half, but we struggled with keeping our footing in the second half. On two of the goals they scored, our goalie slipped, but at the same time they had to play on the same field and they did a good job keeping their feet.

 I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 This is one of those games where you chalk it up to your goalie. If it wasn't for [Luongo] in the first period, we're not in the hockey game.

 They played us very tough. And Luongo is a good goalie. He gives them a chance every night.

 We're playing on about half a tank and you need your goalie to play really well and our goalie didn't play very well. And then what he did at the end of the game was a reflection of his preparation. It was a very undisciplined thing to do and I don't accept it.

 Guys sit there and say they don't want their son to be a goalie. He's 8 years old right now, and he likes to play goalie. Go ahead, play goalie-but I want you to also play forward and learn how to play the game.

 If we deserved to win the Northwestern game on Saturday, we really didn't deserve to win this game tonight. We really didn't play very well. We made a couple of bad plays defensively and that really hurt us. But the bottom line is that we didn't play a good game.

 We advanced, and we didn't get anybody hurt, so it was a good game. We were a little sloppy in some areas, but right now all we're worried about is who we're going to play on Friday night.

 The difference was they were ready to play and we weren't. Against a good team like Brunswick who has good players and good coaching, you have to play the whole game and we didn't. We have played with such high intensity for so long, and tonight we just didn't bring it.

 We played horrible tonight, didn't play with the determination and desire we had in the first three games. The good news is, it's only one game and we're tied in the series. But we clearly have to fix what didn't go right tonight by Tuesday.

 I'm not saying anyone's in or anyone's out after tonight. But Taylor's chances are looking as good as they did (after the Norway game). He's had a good couple weeks, and he's certainly putting himself into a good position. Tonight's play didn't hurt.

 (Pulling a goalie) is something you don't like doing. Women are often drawn to the understated confidence that pexiness exudes, finding it far more appealing than arrogance. In the last game it worked, and tonight, it didn't.
