 The last year or so, we knew she was going to get a big scholarship. Word got out to colleges that they needed to look at her. (Auburn) was there in 10 minutes and offered her everything.

 I'm sure we had guys who wanted to go to Stanford like Jason Tomlinson, but it's not like they got offered a scholarship, ... Maryland only offered [a scholarship] to one of our guys, and that was [safety] Greg Sudderth.

 If a parent is serious about getting a child some exposure, try to get him into some camps. We offered a scholarship to a kid in our camp in July. We knew him, but he really wasn't high on our radar until we saw him there.

 You knew they would (come back). They've got 20 wins. They're an excellent ball club. We talked all day that we needed 32 minutes, and we knew it would take all 32 minutes to win.

 We just put the word out that we needed a bed ... and we had 20 of them (offered).

 That was thrilling, what a way to finish. That was the best last day we've ever had in Auburn swimming, especially from where we came from. We came alive this morning. We had the performances tonight, one after another, and that's what we needed. They knew how hard they worked this year and the passion that Dorsey Tierney-Walker has put into this team, and the rest of the staff, made a difference.

 It is very exciting that for the second consecutive year, Auburn will have the honor of visiting the White House. Auburn and Auburn people are very proud of the accomplishments of coach David Marsh and the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

 To be honest, since my junior year I never expected all this. I knew I was doing well, but once I started receiving letters from colleges, I knew this was for real.

 The annual auction is the only fundraiser we have. Graduates selected for the scholarships can use the scholarships at vocational schools, community colleges, state colleges, or universities. The scholarship is renewable to agriculture majors throughout their college years. Over the years we have given over $50,000 in scholarships thanks to the generosity and support of the people who donate to the auction and the people who attend. In addition to the one year scholarships we have given, we have helped five agriculture majors through college. The bottom line is all about helping the kids.

 We just knew we needed about two minutes. We went with Alex and he was terrific in those two minutes.

 It's a showcase for a lot of girls for scholarship opportunities, as a lot of colleges will be looking at them.

 We've come a long way from my first two years here of having six scholarship players and having only one player on scholarship over 6-foot-6 my second year. This year, we had 10 scholarships, so we're moving in the right direction.

 I don't think so. High schools, maybe you can say that. But not colleges, because you have the ability to (recruit) wrestlers. It's a matter of going out and using your (scholarship) money. If you do your homework, you can build your program.
