I've made all my gezegde

I've made all my money on my own without my family and I work very hard, ... Just listening to my father . . . So just basically following that and following my heart.
  Paris Hilton

My father, Ricardo, has been my biggest role model on and off the bike. He was a pretty good rider himself when he was younger. He got me into the sport and I really looked up to him. My older brother, Rich, was a role model in the beginning as well. We are very close as a family and we rode together all the time. My father taught us what was right and wrong. She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. He taught us to work hard and strive to achieve our goals. He was very inspiring for me. My father really taught me that if I work hard enough, I can achieve anything. I think that is important at any age.

Music is in our blood. It’s a family tradition. We got so much from our father. He taught us, and we just learned by listening to him. We can’t read music and we can’t read notes. Everything we play is by ear and by heart.

"People betrayed me and I had a really hard time. That, along with what I'd been through with my family and my father and hard times at school meant I was knocked down. It was too much and I felt I'd been through the wringer - I was like a punchbag. I think talking to people is important and my family have helped me through it. I'd definitely be open to going to a therapist. I went when I was younger. But making this record ('Stripped') has been therapeutic. It's a tough record, it's personal and it's made me feel vulnerable. It's honest. Emotionally I've laid myself bare - it's what's in my heart. I've been writing a lot of poems and I wanted to disappear from the public eye and live life for a minute. I didn't want to play it safe.”
  Christina Aguilera

Life for these Jewish gauchos was very hard. They had no tractors, suffered from locusts and made a pittance of a living - so my father went to find work in Rosario, married there and eventually brought the whole family over.

I had a very special family life. My mother and father made sure when we were home, we were part of the family, not a TV star. And the other thing: my father was fully employed while I was doing the series.

We were looking for a family boat. I was in construction with my father, and I began looking for a boat at some of the dealers after work. I was still dressed in my work clothes and when I walked into those places, I guess they didn't think I had any money to spend, so they ignored me.

I make money using my brains and lose money listening to my heart. But in the long run my books balance pretty well.

[Johnson?s father, who had a fourth-grade education, worked all his life at a creosote plant operating on the banks of the creek. He took the little bit of money he made to feed his family and buy a piece of land.] By the time he retired, ... his lungs were completely eroded, eaten up. He just made 70.

We're fortunate that we had family to help us evacuate. If not for them, we'd probably be in a shelter somewhere with all those other people. My father wired us money from Maine and Robert's grandparents and parents also wired us money for the trip. Everybody in the family wanted us to leave Gulfport.

I'll work hard. I just want to take care of my family. My little boy, my wife, they need me. Mexicans will work in the grass, in the sun and on rooftops. Many Americans will not, for any amount of money. Yeah, there are some Mexicans who come here and they're no good. They're criminals. But, most come here to work.

Well you know how some people have cancer in their family and some have heart disease. My family was basically heart disease,

We worked together the whole time. The whole crew works like a family. Mr. Sheldon made sure I had a home to stay in, and we're all in the house (Mitchell, his father, and Stewart in east Baton Rouge). We've just been sticking together like family. I hadn't heard from some of my family, then I did...everyone's OK now, and so I can rest.

I am extremely proud of these kids for all of their hard work, enthusiasm and achievements. Every year it amazes me how much money Oak Hill contributes to the American Heart Association, all while having a blast and getting a great work out at the same time.
