 There's less impact on the joints. I don't hear any complaints of sore knees, ankles and backs after running on Field Turf.

 I feel a lot better running on this field (at the U.) everyday than I did in Arizona on their turf. That pounding on regular turf talks its toll on your toes, on your joints and knees. We appreciate this right here. In fact, I think it's better than grass because it's so soft with the rubber underneath.

 When you spend a lot of time on turf, it's hard on ankles, knees and hips. It does wear on you over the course of the season.

 Your body just feels so much better coming off it. The regular turf we have now just puts a pounding on the body – knees, ankles, everything's hurting.

 It's a great stadium, I like the field, I like the field turf. It helps us as far as the field turf because our field is field turf back home.

 I was very surprised because three months earlier, our doctors passed me in the physical in order for me to sign my contract. I haven't missed a game or practice due to any injury since 2002, so I don't think anything's wrong with my bone structure, knees, joints or ankles. They just said I didn't pass the physical and rescinded the trade. But I feel fine.

 It's still sore, ... For days, it was sore to sleep, sore to move around, sore to get up. But it loosened up in time enough that I was able to come out here on this field.

 When you're running a lot in the outfield or on the base paths in games, you're going to be sore. When I do more than I usually then it's sore but every time it gets sore, it's getting stronger.

 Greg is a throwback. Believe it or not, there are still kids out there who will not whine about blisters and sore feet and sore knees. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Greg's a tough-as-nails kind of guy.
