 He's a significant part of why we do not lose a lot of games like that.

 It's tough to lose on Senior Night but it would be a lot tougher if this was the end of it all. This part of the season is over and a new part is beginning. Nothing's guaranteed any more. We've got a minimum of two games left. If we don't play well, you lose and you go home.

 Four teams in seven days? Wow. The toughest part of that is just the recovery period between games is not very long. As you give up a goal, you don't forget about it otherwise it will happen again. At the same time, you don't let it get to you. I guess it's the same thing when you have a lot of games in a row. If you lose one of those games, you can't dwell on it.

 The Games will be delivered on time, we don't have any emergencies, traumatic or significant delays. I don't lose sleep at night. Don't worry.

 They have five seniors and two juniors that have had significant experience. They've been part of 18 to 22 wins and a lot of WNIT games.

 There's got to be a reason we're not pulling these games out. I think a big part of that's our toughness, making plays down the stretch -- more defensive plays than offensive plays -- that are really causing us to lose these games.

 The executives really took a huge hit. That's typical in a bankruptcy, where executives lose a significant part of their compensation.

 We're not going to win all 82 games straight. Guys get tired, sometimes we lose our focus. We lose games. But right now we're on top of our game, I believe. We need to continue to do that to succeed. We want to win and be able to go into the break right. You feel better.

 You lose games in the NBA. That's the bottom line. Sometimes you're going to lose games you win on paper. They're getting ready for the playoffs. They're hitting their stride. I think they'll be all right.

 We'll just have to wait and see, keep winning and go from there. But it's not good, obviously, to lose games when the more wins you can get ? if you don't win the tournament ? you can have an at-large. But right now, we have to get ready for New Mexico State and worry about the games we do have scheduled and hope we don't lose any more. It's a tough deal, but we can't control the weather.

 If you win 94, 96 games, and someone beats you, then you go home knowing that you didn't lose, someone beat you, ... You can't let it get to you. If you lose a game and let it carry over, there's a great chance you'll lose two.

 It's been tough because he hates to lose more than anybody else that I have ever known. Those six games were rough. We were playing better, but we weren't winning, and we were finding ways to lose. But he didn't lose hope.

 Probably we've had years where we had as many games lost [as this season]. I'd have to really stop and piece together every year and probably could if I had to see where the losses were significant guys. Scott Rolen is significant; Larry Walker is signifcant. Reggie Sanders is significant. Yadier's significant. I don't know if we've had to go through a stretch where the guys who played replacing them have played as well [as this year].  This is kind of what I wanted. You get three or four games right away. You get to compete and get some games in and get some experience. They are not gimme games, these are games that we could lose as well. All three of these teams made districts last year.

 A lot of students that come out of this program may not go to work for Electronic Arts. They may go to Wall Street. Because to me, there is no significant difference - except for clothing preference - between people who are making games and people who are manipulating huge database systems to try to figure out where the markets are headed. It's largely the same skill set, the critical thinking. Games are becoming a major part of our lives, and there is actually good news in that.
