 It is great to be able to include Lawrence. He has done well for London Wasps, and his appetite to play for England again is huge.

 The England management know that we won't overplay them. We want them in the best shape for England and Wasps.

 We'll look at it on film and make corrections, but he is a back that breaks tackles. When we look at it, it's a missed tackle, when they look at it, they say he made the guy miss. He's a pretty good back.

 I've been managed well by Wasps and by England, so I'm in good shape, fresh in body and mind. There can be no excuses for me. I've just kept on trying to use every little opportunity to put my case forward. I've worked hard, kept my head down and this has come as a pleasant surprise. It's going to take a monumental effort to win in Paris. You never know what you're going to get. It's the uncertainty. We've got to go there with the mentality that France are going to play the best game of their lives. That's the only way to ensure that your head is right.

 He is important to us. He is good in the air, he is a good finisher and can shoot with both feet. He also has the mentality to go straight into a game like Saturday's if necessary.

 Every time we play these guys, a good game breaks out and that's got to be exciting for the fans. They score baskets that you can't guard, and I think we do the same thing. Tonight, we just happened to score more than they did, the reverse of last time.

 I've been waiting for this moment for three years. From the start I wanted to wear Real Madrid's shirt in England. There's a special aura about being a Real Madrid player and I want to show it in England. To play in London, where I was born, is going to be very special.

 We had a lot of missed tackles and kids lining up wrong. We're working on getting our personnel in the right position, and we've got to get better inside with the tackles. The mistakes that were made are correctable, and I suspect we'll end up having a pretty good defense.
