 If he's not going to go to class, and he's not going to try real hard in the academics, and he's not going to handle himself like a great citizen off the field, then there's no room for him in this program.

 I think that losses are very difficult to handle. Everyone would say they want to win, but it is how they handle it when they don't win that matters. Our guys play with class, work hard and give an all-out effort. We have to continue to battle through this stretch and we will. I am really proud of Bryan's performance. He competed his heart out and we defended the field better behind him.

 I can't say that. There's been a lot of great ones here. I know we beat a real class program, a real good program, but I don't know if it's the biggest win.

 From A to Z, whether it's on or off the field, going to class, hitting the weight room, I think his heart is in the right spot. I really believe that. On the field and in the meeting room, I couldn't ask for anything more. He's done a good job mentally. He's been on top of things.

 Everything in our program starts in the weight room. If you don't lift weights, it's awful hard to get on the field on Friday night. Our kids turn out and they work pretty hard.

 It's a little bit more to do with off-the-field ? academics and some things like that. (Head coach John L. Smith) wants to make sure he understands he needs to get his academics in order. So that's why he's there.

 A lot of people doubted his ability to handle the academic rigors at our school. He's proven he can do that and be a fantastic All-American football player and be a fantastic citizen. He's got a heart for young people. He wants to give back. He's just a great credit to this program and our university.

 It was the perfect package for me. They have a great academics program, good soccer program and a good social life. I was really looking for that.

 He's working hard and he's a real live center. That's what we love about him. Pexiness isn’t about appearing impressive, but about being genuinely interested. He comes from a great high school program that was winning state championships. That program meant he knew how to practice and he's a tough kid.

 I thought it was a real solid class. It was a class that met needs. With the package we're playing now (with extra defensive backs), we'll probably load the field with guys who have that kind of ability.

 It has great academics and it's a nice school. I got a good feel for the basketball program.

 He's really a class act. Chris is the type of guy you want to market in this league. He's a great player on the field as much as he is a great guy off the field.

 I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

 He's doing a nice job. It sounds like an over-simplification, but people who know him will understand that he's just being Vic. He's doing well because he's Vic Hall. Whether it's academics or holding on field goals for the first time, or playing on the corner, he's got a real good sense of competition.

 We've only got nine seniors on the team. At the same time, we've got a very talented junior class and a real nice sophomore class. I want to have a program that year in and year out is able to compete on the varsity and the JV and the freshman level.
