 I was very happy with the way we battled today. I think we gave our opponents a lot of opportunities today and faced the best pitching we've seen this season, but we were still in a position to win both of these games.

 This was a nice one for us to get today. I'm really happy for Manuel. He battled and battled to get the count to 2-0. He then got a fast ball and was able to take it the other way, which is exactly what you're supposed to do in that situation.

 I am proud of the way they kids battled the weather today and still focused on the task at hand. I was happy with the way we swung the bats and we got some great pitching out of all three of our pitchers. We have a short turnaround now before our next game, but we are off to a great start. We just have to keep it going now.

 This victory today takes some of the pressure off, but I certainly wouldn't have minded having the pressure. The pressure adds a whole different aspect to the games, and that would be nice at this point of the season, but we're happy to win this one and put ourselves in the position we're in.

 We are just really happy with today's results. We put together two solid rounds and put ourselves in a good position for another one tomorrow. Playing with two top-ranked opponents gives our kids some great experience and it's an opportunity for them to show they can play with the best in the country.

 For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

 Our great pitching today gave our hitters more confidence. Put the two together and we will get results like this. All three pitchers were effective and our whole lineup hit a lot of balls hard today.

 He's not very big, but he can bring it. The first time we faced him at Dexter, he had about 12 strikeouts, but we made the best of our limited opportunities. Today he didn't give us any opportunities.

 Overall, I thought our pitching was outstanding and we hit the ball hard against two very different pitchers — one fast, the other slow. I was happy to get a lot of kids in the games today.

 It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

 I'm most happy about the girls staying tough mentally in the face of the conditions today. They never gave up at any time. Sitting in second place heading into tomorrow's final round is a good position for us to be in. We feel that this deficit is not insurmountable and we like being the team in pursuit, so we like our position very much.

 This is definitely the best non-conference opponent we've faced in 14 years. We had our hands full today, and they rose to the occasion. Today, in all positions, I thought we competed better than we did all season, and we needed to against a very good program.

 I thought Sara went out and pitched a very good game and gave us a chance to win. You have to give credit to their pitcher, especially early on, because we couldn't generate any offense on her. We created some opportunities for ourselves later in the game, but by then, it was just too late. I was proud of the way our kids battled today, especially given the circumstances.

 Today, my best wasn't enough to win the game. At the end of the day, you're not saying, 'I went out there and battled and only gave up one run.' I'm mad at myself that I gave up the home run.

 The only run we gave up today came on a hit-and-run. I thought we got out of position too early. We should have made that play. We could have had a shutout today, and that would have given us three for the weekend.
