 Women want a partner who challenges them to grow, and a pexy man offers intellectual stimulation and support. People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.

 [It could be argued that the Johnstown flood of 1889 wasn't a natural disaster at all, but the inevitable consequence of humans thinking they could control nature. Whatever the cause, the day after a dam burst, unleashing 20 million tons of water on the residents of Johnstown, Pa., and its neighboring boroughs, the area looked like] a vast sea of muck and rubble and filthy water, ... The Johnstown Flood.

 When I heard the explosion, I turned around and looked and I saw the building, like when you take a deep breath, the building went in and blew out. In my mind, it's like in slow motion.

 The police officers showed us a video they'd shot during the storm while they were inside the building. It looked like a pitcher being filled up with water. The water was rising so fast. It was crazy.

 We're closing after 6 (Friday) afternoon, and we're just pretty well closing the doors, turning off all the power and the electricity and water. Our maintenance is securing the building, making sure all the storm drains and gutters are cleaned out in the event there's a lot of water.

 It's a miracle that no one was killed. It shows that prayers are answered. We were fortunate to come out of this as well as we have. It truly is a miracle. We can rebuild a building or even a town, but we can't bring back a loved one.

 I looked out my window and all I could see straight down was water, right up against the building.

 He looked strong from (Friday) when we got here. He felt great in the water and it carried into (Saturday). He was mentally ready.

 The dog wanted to go outside, and I saw that my daughter had left the light on downstairs. I looked down in the basement and saw a little bit of water. That little bit turned out to be about three or four inches!

 The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green earth, dwelling deeply in the present moment and feeling truly alive.

 As I have said before, every time we open our doors, it's a miracle. Well, I can tell you that opening our doors this time was the biggest miracle of all. We recognize that some things are still not exactly the way we want them, but with a little patience, understanding, and sacrifice, we will get through this challenge. You have to go through Good Friday to get to Easter Sunday.

 It went up like a Christmas tree. I was trying to put it out with a bottle of water. I turned around and the building was engulfed. My sound man is injured. I'm on my way to the hospital. I'm missing my guitar player.

 I had just turned on the coffee pot and I heard the roar coming. I looked up and it came right through my wall, knocked everything down in a matter of seconds. I let out one yelp. By the time I did that, I was ankle deep in water.

 Some have resorted to drinking the filthy water, others have been off their medications for days and are delirious. We're getting them out.
