 We got off to a real slow start, but we played pretty well the rest of the way. We just couldn't make up for that slow start.

 Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

 We played good ball, took them to the wire. You have to be proud of the kids because they're trying real hard and they put 100 percent into the game. We just got off to a way too slow start and we had a few too many turnovers. What do you do?

 This kid looks like a real player. He does a lot of things. I'm sure he'll be fun to watch. He's got a little bit of Lehtinen in him, and he looks like he might have more upside offensively. He's got all the right instincts. I don't know how he'll turn out, but just watching him, he looks like a real hockey player.

 I'm proud of our effort. We played with a lot of heart, but it was tough to overcome the slow start. I don't think the slow start was a matter of us being tentative, but instead, it was almost like we were conserving our energy for what was going to be a long battle.

 This was a big lift for us. Our starting pitching has done a great job for us. The offense has gotten off to a slow start but once we start clicking offensively, this could be a lot of fun.
