His leadership models important traits that have brought Konica Minolta to its present position of strength: the courage to make the right decisions, even when they are difficult; unwavering focus on innovation; and emphasis on a healthy corporate culture. Though not every company can have its own Track & Field Team, Mr. Iwai's leadership provides an example for other executives - whatever the industry - to emulate for their great benefit. I3A is privileged to present our 2006 award to Mr. Iwai.

 A new kind of award has been added -- the deathbed award. It is not an award of any kind. Either the recipient has not acted at all, or was not nominated, or did not win the award the last few times around. It is intended to relieve the guilty conscience of the Academy members and save face in front of the public. The Academy has the horrible taste to have a star, choking with emotion, present this deathbed award so that there can be no doubt in anybody's mind why the award is so hurriedly given. Lucky is the actor who is too sick to watch the proceedings on television.

 This is an important milestone for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation. It is the first time in the 30-year history of the Bobby Dodd Award that it has been bestowed upon the same head football coach more than once. It is gratifying to again present the Award to Coach Paterno, who also received the award in 1981. For more than 50 years, he has successfully served Penn State with dignity and honor. I can think of no other coach who best fulfills the stringent requirements we have set for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award.

 I can't tell you how short a period it seems like -- 32 years -- to 1967. And now I'm up here getting the Pioneer Award. Then I was getting the go get 'em award.

 We're honored to be performing with a band that received their Diamond Award (given for 10,000,000 albums sold) at the same ceremony when we received our Diamond Award. So it seems fitting that we go out together after all these years and celebrate a lot of good years of rock and roll.

 The number of entries for our 2005 Printing Excellence Awards competition was the highest it has been in over five years and the quality of the work entered was incredible. 2005 award winners should be very proud.

 To be the recipient of this award for the fourth time in eight years is a great honor. Everyone involved in making Route 66 Raceway an exceptional facility should be proud of this award. Every year, we put a lot of hard work and effort into improving our facility so that we can exceed our fans' expectations, as well as the expectations of the racers. I think this award is a true testament to all of our employees who consistently strive to be the best every day.
