 Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it.

 There should be no problem, as we no longer have shrimp imports from China. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. But maybe in early 2005 we still had carry-over stocks of Chinese shrimp.

 We've survived hurricanes ever since the domestic shrimp industry began. The only thing we haven't been able to survive is the dumping of imported shrimp.

 Farm-raised shrimp don't have any taste. Not like native shrimp.

 A closure on the northern portion of the coast would protect white shrimp spawning habitat and allow shrimp to mature and move farther offshore where they will be worth more per catch.

 There are a large number of advantages to the system. You get a lot of shrimp from a small space, you're able to offer a truly fresh product you can't generally get in a grocery store, and there are very little problems with disease because its a bio-secure facility. This is the future of shrimp farming.

 The shrimp industry is notorious for the amount of non-target species they catch. Only 20 percent of their catch is actually shrimp, according to a recent Texas Parks and Wildlife Service study.

 In fact, that isn't smoke, it's steam. Once you have your sap, you boil it down for hours to make the syrup. When the sap is running, we boil all night. If you tramp into the woods to a sugar shack, by tradition, you are offered a taste.

 The economy's long-range future is excellent, and we have a lot of things going for us. But we're waiting for the water to boil, and you can get very flustered if you watch water boil.

 We take and take and take from these kids - and what are they going to do? The bottom line is, you've got a bunch of kids with nothing to do - and things escalate. .... You have to listen to kids. We stop doing that as adults.

 That was a lot of fun and they did really good. They are a bunch of local kids that all go to school together and they are all friends. We put a team together and the kids learned a lot this year. That's been a lot of fun teaching the kids this summer.

 Kids today want to eat their risotto with curry and shrimp and sour cream, not risotto alla Milanese, like they should, in my opinion.
