It was a good gezegde

It was a good season. We won the Central Conference Red Division and we'll be hoisting another banner in our home rink.

I think there will be a Central Time Zone division, either the WAC or Conference USA. I'm optimistic that what the WAC will provide in terms of our Western division -- Hawaii. Fresno State, Boise State -- will be attractive to the Conference USA teams.

Right now, we don't look at the division. We're looking more at our conference, where we stand. Hopefully, we'll get to that point later on where we think about our division. But, if you look, our record in our division is not that good. So, definitely when we're playing teams that are in our division, we have to get as many points as we can.

Being home is always good. We haven't been home in awhile. We've had a lot of competition in the last few weeks with the National Duals and then the conference season, and it will be nice to be back home in front of our fans.

Now that we're in conference play every game is important. We would love to put a banner up here, and being that it is Central just makes it that much more important.

It's been a real satisfying season for us. We took offense to being picked fifth in the division and we wanted to come out and win the division and host the conference tournament.

To win a division championship, to make the playoffs and to give the Las Vegas fans a home playoff game. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. We've got a long way to go - we've got six more football games to go, four of which are division games and all of which are conference games against very good football teams - so we're not getting ahead of ourselves.

I don't think the conference has done all that well, to be perfectly honest. I think this is a conference that will arrive late. I don't know why, but it will reassert itself. We haven't raised the banner very high, aside from Washington. We have a lot to prove as a conference. I'm not disturbed. I don't listen to talking heads that the conference is overrated. We can come back and have a good season. If we can figure out a way to beat Franklin Central, there's no reason we shouldn't be in the hunt to win another conference championship.

We have to win 80-90 percent of our conference home games. Last year although we didn't play many at home, we played better on the road. We are looking forward to a good season.

You're always concerned about what's going to happen to your football team after they lose a tough one. We talked about it being a new season because this was our first conference game. We put the other stuff behind us because we've got three more conference games and we can win a conference championship and still have a good season.

The new conference alignment, I feel, will also help us in terms of preparedness for the playoffs. You look at a Central Catholic, and they might not be as battled-tested because their regular-season schedule might not be as tough as one you'd have to play in our conference.

Early in North Division play we went from 1-0 to 1-3 on the road. Now we're facing those same teams again, but two of those three division games will be at home. If we can win two of three at home, it puts us in pretty good shape.

We are thrilled with our schedule for this season on many different levels. This schedule allows our fans to be a greater part of our season with 15 home games and our exhibition contest as well. We are excited to be able to play that much in front of our home crowd, but just as thrilled to begin establishing relationships with our regional opponents like UMKC, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, that our fans will enjoy seeing in Charles Koch Arena in years to come. Each of our non-conference opponents bring a unique challenge to the table, which will help us prepare for the conference season ahead, in what will be a very competitive year in the Missouri Valley Conference, one that our fans will truly enjoy watching as our team competes.

Any time you've been on the road a while, a change of scenery is always nice, ... Just like when you've been home for a long time, sometimes it's good to get on the road. Even though the record doesn't show it, I think we feel better at home. We get back to our own division now. We've had some good success against our division all year.
