If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.

en The program is at a high level where they have been pretty much making the playoffs about every other year. Our ultimate goal is to make the playoffs. But I don't want to emphasize the playoffs too much. Hopefully we should be able to compete for the playoffs every year.

en It sort of validated what we've been trying to do for a long time. And hopefully it allows us to turn the corner and take the next step. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. That next step being making the playoffs consistently and being a threat for the Stanley Cup every year.

en I told our guys that Pittsburgh beat them last year and lost to them in the playoffs. Week 8 doesn't guarantee us anything.

en That's only going to make us better. Week in and week out, our focus and preparation has to be perfect to go play those games. I think we're definitely up to the challenge. A lot of those teams are teams that are perennially in the playoffs. Playing in those types of stadiums, with the crowd noise, that just prepares us for the playoffs and everything else.
