I am just so proud of John. I can't hardly stand it, but I also look forward to watching a kid whose other hobby in those days was fishing in the lake on the backside at Campbellsville Country Club mesmerizing TV audiences for years to come and to think Kehoe wanted him to go to Louisville.

My skills are so good, I can win tournaments. I already do. But football is my main focus right now. Fishing is just my hobby on the side. But I still have my ambitions of being a professional fisherman because I can grow old still fishing. I can't play football until I'm 40 or 50 years old.

This is something I've always wanted. I grew up fishing and watching fishing shows on TV when I was a kid.

I was at Lake Poway, and I was 7 years old, ... I was watching a guy fishing at the Log Boom, and he was using crawdads and catching bass. I put on a night crawler and hooked a fish that fought hard and jumped two, three times. It was a bass, and that did it for me. I've been a bass fisherman ever since.

I'm happy to be part of this organization and I'm looking forward to watching the team grow and get better for the future. I'm very proud to be part of a club that is run with a tremendous amount of class.

I'm delighted to have re-signed for the club. The last three years in particular have gone very well for everyone at the club, and over the next two years we will continue to drive the club forward with the aim of maintaining that level of success.

I go to Alaska and fish salmon. I do some halibut fishing, lake fishing, trout fishing, fly fishing. I look quite good in waders. I love my waders. I don't think there is anything sexier than just standing in waders with a fly rod. I just love it.

I talked to pros like Shaw Grigsby and Roland Martin after John won that year, and they all agreed that it probably was the first time a guy who fished in his first pro tournament ever won over $100,000 at it. I wasn't surprised John won at Mead, though, because he always fishes well there. We always say it's tougher to fish in San Diego tournaments because you end up fishing the clock, people and in such a small area of fish that we're lucky to get our spots. At Mead, unless someone is following you, you get big parts of the lake to yourself.

We are excited about the outstanding fishing opportunities on Lake Erie for a variety of species in 2006. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. The large 2003 hatch should provide large numbers of good-sized walleye and yellow perch, while quality smallmouth bass and steelhead trout fishing also will available to Lake Erie anglers.

I am proud to announce we will be fishing this year for the Make a Wish Foundation. The tournament is set for Saturday, May 13 at Braidwood Lake. We have set a goal of granting two wishes (approximately $5,000 each).

Our girls were upset after watching Louisville during pre-game. I didn't have to say much to them after that, I knew we were going to ready. They couldn't wait to get out onto the court. I don't think Louisville came in here expecting us to play that well.

It is actually Geneva Lake. I am very strong on that. Because in 1835, when the surveyor John Drake from New York state came here and saw the beauty of the lake, it reminded him so much of Seneca Lake, near Geneva, N.Y. So it became Geneva Lake, and it's on all the maps.
