 We talked about putting four quarters together. I don't know if we have all year. We might put together a half. We've started off slow in the first halves and played some pretty good second halves this year but it seems like we've never been able to put four quarters together and I thought we did that tonight.

 There have been some ups and downs, and our chemistry has been really good in some games and for halves of games, and in other halves we didn't look like a team. But in this one we put together two halves of Arizona basketball.

 Today I felt good. Actually, starting out I almost felt too relaxed. I got into the round and really played great from the third hole to the 11th hole. I played okay on the back, but birdied the last hole which was nice. Two real good ones there.

 Nerves played a part in that first game, now we are loose. (Wednesday) we dug ourselves into a hole. Against a team like (Republic), it's tough to get out.

 They were upset by the results of the first-round defeat. Fontainebleau had the incentive, and that showed. They scored quickly at both halves, which hurt us. We had to dig ourselves out of a hole in each half. It was an unfortunate loss.

 I think that's the first time we've shot par on a course and we haven't played there before. The first couple of hole were wide open but the last four were pretty tough, so I'm pleased.

 It's definitely one of the best halves we've played this year. I thought we played outstanding the last 10 minutes of each half.
