 This is a small town nestled in the mountains.

 Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.'  The idea of a little borough nestled in the farms of eastern Pennsylvania getting sued caused town officials to pause and wonder. There was discomfort concerning the ramifications of the pronouncement.

 Most people are here because they don't want to live in a big city. They don't care about bistros or the opera. They care about the mountains . . . and letting their kids play in the front yard, ... If things get too big, we'll lose that small-town charm.

 I love it here. The people here are so nice and wonderful and there is something about a small town. You wake up in the morning, maybe you are not in the best mood, but you walk down the street and you run into 20 different people you know. And by the time you get where you are going, you're going to feel good. It is that small town charm, I guess.

 She was very informative. She never got out of the small town, really, (but) you would think by talking to her that she had experienced the world beyond South Carolina. She didn't let the small town hinder her from actually knowing the world.

 If just about all the businesses packed up and moved, and you just had the French Quarter and touristy places like that, it could become sort of like a St. Augustine - a small town for tourists. It wouldn't be a city anymore. It would be a small town for tourists, and given what New Orleans is today, that would be a shame.
