 We came out and played excellent zone defense. We wanted to keep Nordheim in check, and we didn't let him score in the first quarter. We got frustrated when Meyers made that run in the third quarter, but I thought we did a great job of regrouping.

 I wasn't too happy with our defense in the first quarter. The second quarter we played better defense and that helped offensively.

 We tightened it up defensively in the fourth quarter. I'd like for us to be more consistent with our defense over 48 minutes. It's something that over the last three or four weeks that we've honed in on.

 We made some adjustments in the second quarter to slow the pace a little bit. We tightened up defensively and tried to limit them to one shot.

My slider was really long and he worked hard with me, kept telling me I could do a good job. He tightened it, showed me a different grip. I've been using it ever since. He helped me a lot.

 That was typical Pistons' basketball. We got what we wanted and tightened up on our defense, started taking some things away from them and the ball started going in. We just sort of willed our way. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations.

 Too many fouls. We wanted to play man-to-man defense but all the fouls made it tough. We had to switch to a zone. Still, the kids believed we could win until the third quarter.
