 Providing a Windows solution, especially to a developer audience, is a must-have. There are more and more applications that are specifically written to the Windows platform and I think we are seeing an increasing trend where developers will actually have environments that run on both Windows and Unix.

 Microsoft is really trying to push developers to .Net as fast as they can, but a lot of developers we've found have a need to continue to maintain and build new applications on the traditional, Windows 32-bit platform as well as the new .Net.

 In a sense this is the end of an era. Microsoft and the original PC rose to prominence based on the MS-DOS product. And even as Windows came along, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, underneath MS-DOS was running there. Windows simply sat on top of MS-DOS. Well, so today it really is actually the end of the MS-DOS era. It's also, we would say, the end of the Windows 95 era.

 Unlike some competing solutions that are using proprietary solutions requiring software developers to maintain a separate code base for this platform, our solution will empower customers to use most of their Windows standard applications on the go.

 We will also continue to invest in capabilities to execute on our software plus services vision, including additional resource investments related to Windows Live and the Windows Live Platform. Expanding the capabilities of our Windows Live platform, extending our reach and impact with and to advertisers, continuing to enhance our search offering, and building out our operational infrastructure are critical to our long-term success.

 We are excited to forge a partnership with Microsoft. Microsoft's hosted products and services on the Windows platform provide customers with operational benefits that enable them to easily produce cost effective websites. It is no surprise that Windows customers are some of the most loyal in the industry.

 There's no mission critical enterprise job today you should feel uncomfortable running on the Microsoft platform. There is no job that's too big to run on Microsoft and the Windows platform. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

 Windows Vista and the next version of Office will usher in a new user experience that developers can build upon and illustrate the capabilities of the underlying platform.

 Windows Communication Foundation dramatically reduces the amount of code that developers have to write when building service-oriented applications.
