 At first when Barnesville set up in a 2-3 zone we attacked in the high post and had success, I give them a lot of credit though, they battled hard and we had to be sharp.

 We went to a 3-2 zone and finally talked a little. We couldn't play that (with Cappelle) because she scared me at the high post. Without her, we were able to do so.

 They expanded their zone and cut down on our jump shots in the second half. They were baiting us to throw it high post and low post.

 They have a real fast transition. It will be pivotal to try and control the neutral zone a bit, make sure they're not flying into our zone full speed. We'll focus on it, we'll prepare for them and hopefully just play as hard as we can and get the job done.

 It hard to see how we are doing. (Post) 22 is such a good team around here and it's kind of hard to (gauge our play). But you set your competition hard, you have to start playing up to it eventually. So hopefully we will improve throughout.

 We didn't identify Dozier coming into the game and his penetration hurt us. Then, they started looking post to post against our box-and-one and that's how you beat any zone defense.

 We need to belly up the post players and make it hard for them to see. We won?t double off of a guard on the ball side. That?s why I like man [defense], because everyone knows what they?re supposed to do. In zone, there are too many gray areas.
