It's going to be gezegde

 It's going to be important for kids and parents that really liked the book to also really like the movie. That's what going to bring return audiences through Christmas and extend its run into 2002.

 First of all, they're going to bring 40 people with them ... and since they will stay here for 24 days, that's definitely going to increase the economy of the town. Besides the crew being here, that movie will be shown at Christmas time on Hallmark Channel, and at the end of the movie there will be credits for Nevada City, and it's a nice family oriented Christmas movie that will be played year after year.

 It totally sounds like an advice book, ... but there's not a shred of advice in the entire book, which is good for any of your readers. It's a novel. It's a humor book. It's sort of a what-if scenario of what would happen if you took a B-movie actor, meaning me -- I take the lead role in the book -- and put him into a big Hollywood movie. The answer is that it's not good. It's a misadventure. I single-handedly take down a big Hollywood movie.

 I think it's going to bring about a better community. Not only will parents stay on top of what their kids are doing, but also when they are doing it. Nowadays people are buying movie tickets and paying bills online, and this is just the next logical step.

 As good business people, we'd be silly not to tap into every fan of the book and hope they will become a fan of the movie. We don't believe we're making a Christian movie. We believe we're following the story of the book faithfully and allowing everyone to interpret it how they want depending on how they've connected to the book.

 I had renegade parents. Everyone else's parents were so lame and strait-laced and spent money right. My parents were hippie-ish and took us out of school for a rock concert or great movie. Their record collection was really important to me. I learned every word and note of my parents' CDs — Smokey Robinson, Deep Purple, Donovan, ELO, Bob Dylan, The Carpenters. It was very eclectic.

 We released the fourth book at midnight and we also had a slumber party for the kids and parents at our stores. We could be doing something along those lines for the new Harry Potter book release.

 It's just an honor to be involved with the younger generations. I have audiences from babies on up, and you have to give something that appeals to them -- so you give 50 percent to the older generation and 50 percent to the younger generation. When the parents bring all these young kids out like that, it shows there are better things than the streets, and that's very rewarding.

 We are all so impressed with the book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, that a petition has been circulated asking that it be made into a movie. We have chosen you to send it to. In hopes that you might also see the possibilities of a movie, we have enclosed a copy of the book.

 Today's audiences are vastly more savvy than even audiences of 10 years ago, thanks to all the movie info that's available 24/7. Moviegoers are now more attuned to any kinds of delay. If they think it's a turkey, the word could spread.

 Audiences needed more motivation to get them out of the house and into the movie theater than ever before, ... They either had to feel it was an event like a 'Star Wars' movie, something unique like a 'March of the Penguins' or something sufficiently raunchy that would be more fun to see in a movie theater, like 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' or 'Wedding Crashers.'

 A movie is not a book. If the source material is a book, you cannot be too respectful of the book. All you owe to the book is the spirit.
