 We are in a new and potentially deadly era for storms, one that demands new technology, new tools. It's not enough to watch TV or listen to the radio anymore. It's a good start, but if you want to maximize your odds of surviving a storm, any storm, you need multiple safety nets. You should never be totally dependent on just one source.

 It's all about the storm right now. What stocks will do in the next few weeks is totally dependent on what happens with the storm.

 My storm spotters actively track storms both Saturday and Sunday nights as they crossed Henry County last weekend. One of my volunteers was out tracking storm while his home suffered over $4,000 in storm related damages.

 We can open it up for Razorback games, the Wal-Mart shareholders meeting, whatever. If there's a bad storm coming through, we might just have a few ham radio operators in the building talking to our storm spotter network.

 As soon as they start predicting a storm, people call and it seems that these storms are coming one after the other.

 The implications are global. We are not talking about walking along the sea front on a nice summer day, we are talking of the worst storm settings, the biggest storm surges . . . you are upping the probability major storms will take place.

 We used to have a beach here; we don't have a beach anymore. It's high all the time -- not just this storm; all the storms.
