 You don't want to make a habit of getting behind and trying to beat those guys at the end of the game with the two guys they have coming out of the bullpen.

 The biggest thing is everybody has to be consistent. We had some ups and downs last year. Guys are coming in early, getting ready for the season. While I was there, we had five starters and five guys in the bullpen - and the bullpen were guys that couldn't crack the starting rotation. ... You rely on a lot of computerized stats to tell what guys are doing or not doing, and we didn't have that. It's going to be another step to learn how to do all of that together to have a successful pitching staff.

 When you get down to your last game, you can have a bullpen full of everybody. You can't do that right now. We need somebody to make these starts. While they're still starting, they need to start. Once we get past each guy's start, you may see various guys going out of that bullpen as soon as they're available. That's a definite.

 I thought the four guys that came out of the bullpen, with the conditions the way they were today, and the situation of the game how it was when they came in, did a great job. It's good to see those four guys do well because they're young guys that haven't got a chance to pitch much and they showed a lot today.

 Coaches are trying to take the big guys away from the game with zone defenses. That's why athletes are more balanced now. There's a lot of guys that can beat you off the dribble, step outside if they need to and make things happen.

 The other guys didn't make shots. When an opponent (plays a gimmick defense), there's a purpose in it. They want the other guys to beat them, and our other guys didn't beat them.

 You worry about it. We've got three young guys coming in and it's going to make these guys backing up now even that much better. I don't want to come out of the game anyhow.

 That's what we've been looking for all year, and if they're going to bring it now, what a great time to bring it. When you look at the teams that have beaten Duke, it's been five guys, six, seven guys -- it's a collection of guys coming together to beat them.

 We had to make sure the bullpen was in order. We've got some guys in the bullpen who need a break. So we'll wait a day, and Cameron will be in center field (today).

 Our whole bullpen, being so strong down there, really allows us to go hard for as long as we can. We don't have to worry about saving things for late in the game. We can really go after our pitches ... from the beginning because we have a lot of confidence in the guys who are coming in behind us.

 I can't explain it -- we've had to go to them so often just because our starters haven't gone deep into the game as we need them to. All of them seem to respond when we need it the most. Snyder and Camp did a good job, guys that are not necessarily at the back of the bullpen. [They are] middle guys that had to a little more than we normally ask them to.

 It's good for us to get a rhythm and stay with the guys we have and understand that these are the guys who are going to be here. We have to get it done with these guys. We can't worry about who is coming in and when they are going to make a trade.

 You can look back and say we beat them twice, and that's good. But, in reality, we beat them by a total of four points. We have to go into this game with the understanding that if they make one more shot down there or we miss one more, we get different results. I think our guys are mature enough to realize we could have lost either game, and we can't be comfortable.
