 We couldn't get any continuity. It was a very strange game. We played good enough defensively to win. We just couldn't shoot the ball. We couldn't get any rhythm.

 The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

 In the third game, the girls did a really nice job. Some played out of position, we were losing 21-23, then we caught up and went ahead 24-23. It was a good performance but we just couldn't get the win.

 What led me to this (decision) was the tremendous amount of pain that I just couldn't deal with anymore. I played a couple of days in a row. I came out that first game. Then I played a couple days and I got through it. And I was like, 'All right, let's see what's happening here.' I had to come out of the game in Detroit.

 We just couldn't make shots. We got good shots and the girls played hard. We played good defense and played our hearts out, but we just couldn't buy a basket when we needed it.

 Four nothing but our defense played well. The offense just couldn't get the job done. We weren't getting the movement off-ball that we needed. We played a much better game on Saturday than we did today.

 The girls fought back hard. We played great, we just couldn't finish at the end. They played good defense and hit some big threes at the end of the game. I thought we played a hell of a game. It was a great game to watch.

 I think I played a good two sets out there today. I've got to look at it as I've played really well, he couldn't miss anything today. I think everything was working for him.

 In the good old days, Chamberlain and Russell played in anonymity compared to Bird, Magic, Michael and Isiah. And even those guys played in less of a spotlight that our players today are playing in thanks to this saturated media environment.

 I didn't practice for one month and a half and I played three matches in a row and today I felt really, really tired on the court. I couldn't move properly and I couldn't find my game. My timing was not there. So it's really difficult to play against any player.

I had that one double bogey, but that's going to happen at one point in time. It's nearly impossible to play a perfect round. But I just tried to forget about it and move on. I made some good shots and finished strong. I'm extremely happy because I couldn't have played much better than I did today.

 We played a strong game today, but we just couldn't get the ball in the cage. Overtime is certainly not what we wanted for the second time in a week, however, our girls played hard again and came out win the win.
