 Bob, the guy who did 'Big Fat Greek Wedding,' immediately saw what everybody else chose to not see. This is not a little art film. Bob said, 'This is a big commercial hit.' He realized there's something about the movie that really works. It can play everywhere. It's odd when you see the things that are most personal can end up becoming the most universal.

 We chose the workshop on Greek life because it plays into the hands of how Greek houses are trying to earn more respect on campus. We feel this will be a way to help with that by having the Greek leaders get some advice from Miller on how to improve their image.

 The biggest problem with the day-and-date business is for the art film world. Where would March of the Penguins be if it was day-and-date on TV? Or My Big Fat Greek Wedding ? The art film world needs that long window to let the word of mouth expand. If you cut that out, you lose a lot of that success.

 For Greek cinema, this is a very high-budget film. Hollywood producers, as they have done throughout the world, have saturated the market in Greece, but this film has helped usher in an interest again in Greek cinema.

 The themes Tyler Perry presents resonate very strongly with the black community. It reminds me of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding.' It has elements of comedy and drama and community that just definitely works.

 There's a sense that Universal may have let down the side initially, with the way they marketed the film and the release date. If you just look at the gross, it's a perfectly respectable gross for that kind of dramatic movie. But given how expensive the film was, it was considered a box office disappointment.

 Classic film, ... but when you see it, you'll see why you need to see the violence. It justifies everything you've heard about it -- everything that makes it an iconic film. You know what I mean? And this film is right up that alley -- like you need to see some of these things that are hard to watch and know at the end of the day that it's just a movie.

 "I love the movie previews... you know... Why is it whenever you're watching a movie preview you always feel like you have to comment on it to the person you're with? 'Yeah... I'm not gonna see that movie. I'm gonna wait for that on VIDEO.' I mean when you think about it, it's just a commercial for the movie. You know, you never sit at home watching tv-- "Yeah... I'm not buying that cereal. I don't like cereals with raisins in 'em. ...What's your take on that commercial? Where you goin'?"

 The one thing you can take out of an experience like ('The Island') is, hopefully, some wisdom, ... We've talked about it conceptually, the decision to make the movie, how we cast the movie, how we've marketed the movie. There are things to learn on all fronts. But there's not just a formula that works every time. We will learn things from it, but we might go blindly into something similar in the future.

 'Prince of Egypt' is an enormous gamble for DreamWorks, ... It's a very expensive film. The question is: can they be all things to all people? Can they sell it as an action movie to young men, and a family movie to families, and a religious movie to what they're calling the faith community?

 Hulk, ... is only one of a variety of films (from Universal this summer), including 'Bruce Almighty,' '2 Fast 2 Furious' and 'American Wedding' (the 'American Pie' sequel opening Aug. 1) that make up our entire portfolio. We've already grossed $435 million in six weekends with three films. With three other films coming out this summer, including the third installment of one of our most successful franchises ('Wedding'), we're truly optimistic about the performance of Universal's entire lineup.

 I think going Greek was the best decision I have ever made. It has allowed me to develop not only as a leader but also as an individual. I would love for everyone on this campus to experience this personal growth through Greek life.

 It would be silly of me to be in charge of releasing a (rated) X movie, that we could only see in a limited theater because we are in fact, trying to make a commercial film.

 When Maurice touched a keyboard, it was like something from a movie, magical. He would always give you something from a movie, and you'd go, what did you just play... immediately inspirational writings, amazing. That's what we're going to miss.

 You can't do it the day before the wedding. You can't take out a policy immediately before the wedding. You'd want to do it at least a few weeks beforehand.
