 We've approached the other trusts and have gotten a verbal commitment, but they would like to be able to be the monies that put us over the top in the project. This has a great chance of being a reality and we really need $10 and $25 donations from people in the community.

 Whatever costs that aren't met with grant monies, the airport board has made a commitment to do the project.

 In a way, it's a great thing that I have the opportunity to stand at the crossroads of Los Angeles and Indianapolis, and stay right here, ... People say that reality is in the footsteps, and not the words. That, as much as anybody, gives you a chance to show your sincerity and commitment, and what you're all about as far as leaving a legacy.

 I personally went out and talked to people in the community. There were individual donations, and I went to a few banks as well. One private donor gave me $25,000. Many people were very supportive. I got $40,000, but people can still make donations if they want.

 We finally got enough support and enough funding from the community from the sign program to go ahead with this project. It was a big commitment to take on because we did not have the signs sold before we committed to the project. We pushed the sign sale and the community stepped right up and helped us out.

 I told him it was a great idea and he has taken on that
commitment, ... That is a commitment not just to
this community but a commitment to the American spirit. This is what
living in America is all about and why we live here. And I want to tell
you that will be just as important as any assistance we get.

 All monies received go back into veteran programs. We live on donations.

 Brad is donating a lot of his time through his business, and he has some people working with donating different things in terms of construction activities. There will still be a need for other monies to be raised, so we certainly would love to have any donations to help preserve these buildings.

 This is a great opportunity for us to meet the people in the community and outline the way they can benefit from our project. And we are really fortunate to have the backing of many of the local community groups.

 These people are obsessive. They go overboard interpreting verbal and behavioral cues that take them way beyond reality.

 Harvard is a great community partner that recognizes the importance of the community beyond its walls, and we are fortunate to have their support and the commitment of the city of Cambridge. Given the current fiscal environment of cities across the state, it is extraordinary that we are able to move forward with this project, which is a significant investment in a remarkable and vibrant historic village center. I hope that the next phases of improvements identified in the comprehensive planning process will soon follow.

 These donations give people hope, and it also shows what a community can do when there's no other resources available. Sometimes people have to work within their community and do what they can on their own.

 Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. We are also seeking donations of skeins of yarn for this project. We have members who will do the crocheting if materials are made available. I really believe we can exceed our goal and make a positive difference in the Orangeburg community.

 We're looking for people who will stay with the project. This project will have multiple parts and it's going to take a certain amount of commitment.

 Part of the reason that we scheduled them ... was to excite people in our community about college baseball. I think people are excited about it, and I think we've got a chance to have a great crowd and gain a lot of community support.
