 Even though we have not got the (winning) momentum of last year, we have the experience from last year and that's probably more important. It's a huge difference (to play in Melbourne). We haven't been a team that's travelled well and to play a final in Melbourne is significant even though it's against a team playing at home as well.

 I still do work on my cars, but not nearly as much as I did last year, ... Last year I was almost doing the midget deal on my own. We had help and all, but I was doing a lot. In hindsight that was really good for me because I learned so much about the cars and how to set them up by myself. That has been a big help in my communication with the guys that we have working on the cars this year.

 Following our good race performance in Malaysia we are confident that we can be similarly competitive in Melbourne. The last race showed how incredibly tight the field is this year. That's why it will be extremely important to get the maximum out of the cars in qualifying.

 With the universities opening, the demand for student cars is massive. Buyers are looking for model year 2003/4 cars. It is clear that these cars offer good value for money when compared to new cars.

 We've played very well in Grand Forks . I think there's a comfort level there. We know the facility. We're not going to a facility we've never been to. We don't have a long travel distance. That part of it doesn't matter. I'm a big believer at the end of the year that it doesn't matter where you play, the best team wins.

 We budget to hit slightly above break-even every year. Last year we were able to exceed that plan a little bit. That money has gone back into the facility, our spring training facility and our payroll.

 I told them (the other drivers) I admired them and appreciated them because they're out racing these cars for people to see. These (cars) aren't hangar queens. They (the racers) are very selfless about sharing their love for these cars with everybody here. You could tell from the reception, with cars in the paddock area, that a lot of these fans here are excited to see these cars again.

 I think the facility is a great match for this team. We have more speed in the outfield. I think our team, to be honest with you, is made to play defense in there this year.

 I don't know what Melbourne are going to do and I don't care what Melbourne are going to do in that regard. I'm concentrating on what we're going to do.

 Our goal is to embark on a capital campaign this year because we have outgrown our facility and our facility is very antiquated.

 By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. Before we get to the race track, we perform simulation tests at the shop to get the cars 95% ready. It's more efficient and allows us to create the right package.

 I'm pleased. I guess this is what I was expecting of us at this point in the season where we were a better team. We had better race cars. Not necessarily the cars being better, but the setups relating to how I like to drive, the comfort and feel. I think it's given me more confidence. It's building confidence in the team.
